Underwater Camera anyone?

Hi guys, i am looking for an underwater camera basically to shoot pictures & video inside water. I am not that particular about the quality etc. I need it be as cheap as possible with just an average image quality.

Another option that i have is to get an underwater casing inside which we can put any Digital camera's .

I don't have any clue about either of them.

Max budget is 2k-2.5k.

casings cost as much as digital cameras if you buy from the camera manufacturer.

anything cheap will be fine as long as you are willing to risk the camera.

Then can you suggest a vfm under water camera? Can be upto 5k-6k.

SOme of my friends used a tupperware box and tape the camera inside. worked well actually.

Can't relly on that dude. I am planning to go diving . Plus i don't have any camera (except my parents). So getting an underwater camera looks like a good deal.

a good underwater camera will cost you atleast 15-16 k .olympus has a model at this price point.at your price point is kodak playsport cam corder.its water proof shock proof.but for diving you need something more solid.but check it out,it might work for you. eBay India: Kodak PlaySport (Zx3) HD Waterproof Pocket Video Cam...
