- To check the amount of miles you need, click here
- You can use the miles to book almost all airlines under star alliance, but you will get the most value on united (doesn't hurt to check though)
- You'll get most benefit when redeeming these miles for premium economy and business class.
- But you can also get good deals on last minute economy class tickets.
- In the demonstration I've used, you can fly non stop business from Delhi to New York for INR 84k (80k miles + $46); it otherwise costs ~$3k (INR 250k)
- I am also a premier gold on united, and MIGHT be able to transfer the benefits, including but not limited to
- Premier access : shorter security/immigration queues
- Business Class Lounge : irrespective of travel class
- 2 bags of 32kg each on economy and 3 on PE/business
