Universal Remote; Budget 1.5K

hello friends,

I am on the lookout for a universal remote. budget is upto 1.5k.

I saw this one called URC 3445 in a store here, don't know the price but was impressed by the fact that it had a rubber ring on its sides.

currently I own a TV, STB & HT system, all from different manufacturers.

from where to buy universal remote?
I need a sturdy remote able to take in some falls, please suggest.

Increase your budget and get a Logitech Harmony 525 for around 3k.

Universal remotes without learning function won't be of much use. Its hard to find a remote with learning function here in India, except the Logitech ones.

The one you mentioned, URC 3445, is from One for all, its a simple four device remote. Its available for around 1k. It wont be of much you, if you want to add more devices. Also it wont support all the devices. You can try a cheap 100 rs Chinese all in one remotes for this.
 
Hard to beat Logitech's Universal Remotes. I have Harmony 525 myself and it works like a charm. Only thing that it cannot control is PS3. Logitech has released a solution for that as well which i am waiting to buy.
 
^^ online prices are High. Check out theitdepot web page they are selling it for 3.6k or so, they are never on the cheaper side :P. Last when I checked in the market, I got a quote of 3.3k.

In ebay.in some sellers were selling it for 4k, use a discount code and get it for around 3k.
