Unlimited original games for Rs.199/month!

For those who don't know,

Indiatimes and Airtel have partnered and released a gaming scheme where one can download unlimited games just for Rs.199 each month.

The validity will be just for one month.

The downloads won't be charged as a part of the regular broadband connection.

They ensure that you are unable to pirate the stuff by things like keeping scores etc in an online data base.

On the down side they stock only the old games.

Has anybody tried it yet?

Could have solved piracy had they offered latest releases.:@
 
Yeah This ad came in my Current Airtel Bill ! The Games are Full Versions but r quite Old ! The Validity is Only 1 Month Though , Try contacting Airtels Customer care for more details ! Anyways I Don't Need This as Long as Torrents r alive ;) !
 
What can you expect in 199 per month or 2400 an annum. Even a single computer game sometimes costs more than this!
 
u got the list of available games or something...cudn't find on their site, anyway guess the games must be outdated ones can't imagine newer games to be available.
 
yeah its like the mtnl ka offer.. all older games...except maybe a couple of them

but atleast its a start...

and i doubt they would offer all the latest games so soon... maybe a a few of em..but not all..
 
I think its a welcome change... If they provide a little more newer games, and charge say about 500/month... I really wouldnt think its a bad deal... I think piracy would go down by a lot!!

But still where is the bandwidth required for fast downloads!!! :lol:

Lol... R u Kidding me ? You Mean u r willing to Pay 500 Bucks per Month for New Games when u can Own them for 700 Bucks More !
 
well if they give good games then its gonna be good

im thinking of going for it bcos i love IGI2 n Freelancer :D
