Unlimited USB Internet Plans in Mumbai

Hi guys i will be moving to mumabi in 2-3 days and as i have a laptop it would be preferable for me to get wireless internet can you guys suggest any unlimited usb internet plans in mumbai.Any help is appreciated.
 
Well as far as reliance netconnect broadband plans are concern there is no unlimited plans but max plan of 1700 or so with 15gb of usuage. if u take reliance 1x data card usb based there u find unlimited plan for 600 or so. but speed will be 144kbps max.

rest all same with other operators reliance is best in plans and coverage
 
I believe Reliance/Tata offer 'unlimited' plans with their 144 kbps modems. However they have a FUP cap of 20 GB.
 
If it is possible to get a wired connection i would suggest going for MTNL as it is VFM. AFAIK there are no unlimited plans in wireless broadband, there may be in 2G USB net ones but that are really crappy in terms of speed.
 
None of the USB Netconnections are available with unlimited. They advertise unlimited which is capped to 15 GB (DL+UL). I had researched MTS/TATA/Reliance/Vodaphoe/Airtel.
 
In pune vodafone is advertising and selling USB internet and giving a 3G stick which houses a vodafone 2G SIM (since no 3G yet) and selling it for 1750 rupees and monthly unlimited usage for 600 rupees. But this is not wireless broadband but using its EDGE connectivity it is offering the internet. Essentially same as aircel 98 rs GPRS plans or airtel's 98 rupees one.

Only good for occasional light websites surfing. In short that is a :no: :no:
 
Try Idea Internet or BSNL's 2G EDGE Internet. Both gives you around 200kbps speed. Both have unlimited plans with no FUP.

If you are talking about Idea netsetter then i guess from the people i know they have all told that speeds are pathetic. About BSNL 2G EDGE, would you consider the speeds better than airtel GPRS/EDGE ? Also what are the plans available in BSNL EDGE ?

Well relaince tata mts all have free roaming under data card plans depends on plan city or nationwide in relaince but most are nationwide
 
Thanks guys!!!! I am thinking of buying Idea at least i can surf and dload some petty stuff if i want and 144 kbps surfing speed means at least i can get 20 kbps dload spd.That BSNL edge also looks good i will have to enquire about that plan.

well, that will be during late evening or early mornings. else during peak hours, downloads will be at about 3 kbps max :p do remember as with any wireless connection there will be a lot of speed fluctuation
