guys i have unlocked athlon ii x3 to phenom ii x4.

but now how to measure temp???

hehe thanks .... if i want to sell this proccy how much c an i expect? As i am not gonna use this processor... my little cousin brother gonna use.... is this similar to Phenom x4 955 ??

about checking temps, use real temp for checking temps within windows, else you can check from bios also.

Make sure you check the stability of your new unlocked core by running prime95.

in bios it is showing temp 48 c with side panel open.....how much time with prime95 should i check?? I ran stress test for about half hour. Is it sufficient. my pc on for about 8 hrs, also played cysis 2 for half an hour ... no errors yet!!!

CORE TEMP WAS ONLY SHOWING 70C... No minimum and maximum

Use real temp, it will show you both the max and the min temps

Speedfan too is good. Btw, is the cooler really thin? Ive seen really thin cooler with Athlon II X2 proccys. Its not a good idea to run a PII X4 on the same, as temps could hit 50~60c with that. Try to get atleast the stock cooler of a PII X2, which is 2S thicker, or get an aftermarket cooler.
