Unused Rapidshare account (Paid Premium). What to do?

I have a paid premium rapidshare account that I no longer intend to use. Its valid upto July, 2010. What to do with it? Is it possible to cancel the account and get money back from Rapidshare?

I do not want to resell it openly in forum in fear that I will be held responsible if buyer uses it for illegal purposes. What to do?
 
I don't think you can get a refund on it, what you can do is sell it. RS accounts are meant to be used for ahem purposes.

Plus you totally surrender the account in the buyer's name, that way you have no association with it.
 
I do understand that sold RS account will be used for ahem. Heck, I myself did that :-)

What I fear is -> buyer downloading child pornography or some other highly illegal stuff!

Even if the buyer is a responsible guy, he might then later resell it some other person who might not be legit.

I started this account by buying it from 'rapidshare.com' using my paypal account. So my name will always be associated with it. Therefore there can never be a total surrender to any new buyer of this account.
 
Hey, i am interested in buying, if i get a good price for the same, i need to download few series which are old and not available.

BTW, I just got a mail from Rapidshare, citing some changes in some regulations. It says that if I do not agree to the changes then I can go for account cancellation (Great timing!!) within 4 weeks.

I just replied them asking if my money will be refunded if I go for cancellation. I will wait for their reply before deciding any further on this matter.

Lucky me! Rapidshare people have agreed to the cancellation & refund. Problem solved!
