We've heard about upconverting DVD players that upconvert 480p to 1080i/p but are there televisions available that can say upconvert low quality signals, whether RF or thru cmposite/component to high definition?
Not sure about the actual electronics but I guess some upscaling chip present in DVD players could definately be placed in TVs... would be a huge plus in markets like India where HD content is still a long way.
