The stock earphones on my Samsung Galaxy S have given away after less than a year of use. This has happily presented an opportnity to enhance my music experience with the cellphone.

I'd found the Samsung IEMs to be decent, but nothing special. Is there something in the market for around Rs1200 which provides superior sound quality?

I listen mainly to classic rock [led zep, dire straits, deep purple, clapton, etc]

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks Marcus. I've ordered SoundMagic E10 after reading mostly positive reviews about it. Hope it's a good choice

There will be substantial improvement over Samsung stock earphones , also even if you dont like the IEM's at the first go , use them for 2-3 weeks minimum so that they burn-in properly .

Is SoundMagic E10 as good as PL11 ?

PL11 are just mind blowing. I guess E10 comes with MIC, correct ?

@Praks
Never tried a E10 but its supposed to be better than PL11,PL21. E10 does not come with a mic , E10M comes with a mic if am not mistaken.
PL11 at its previous price was a VFM buy at 500+/- , at near 1000 bucks i would say its a no go.

E10 is without mike/controls. E10M comes with a mike but is 1000 bucks extra. Not worth it IMHO

Haven't tried PL11, but according to opinions on other forums, E10 is a better bet
