Hello,

First of all sorry!!

There was a hack attempt yesterday on TE/FE and urgent steps had to be taken. I had to upgrade 4 versions of TE which took considerable time.

Now the good news.

Taking some time off, I have enabled some brand new features on TE. Mostly custom coding and you won't find them on any other site :)

  • Market like never before. Using fully customized code, and integration with available trader rating hack, you have now a full fledged trading zone on TE. First for any vbulletin site, you will see unmatched features with "I am interested" and interest tracker mods. I believe the market-watch feature would be loved by all.
  • Trader ratings are now enabled giving you the power of ebay style rating.
  • Brand new TE/FE toolbar with power search integration.(So you can now even search rig gallery)

Worked on tight schedule here so there can be bugs, especially in templates. Please report any bugs.

Important Update:

We have implemented Google Sitewide Search on TE itself.

You can now search all the Boolean/Binary and 3 Letter Keywords on TE.

To start using the sitewide search just click the normal search button in the TE Userbar at the top. You would get the option of performing Normal search or Sitewide search.

It has been implemented for all the skins/styles.

i can already see a lot of changes...and i am really loving it..

looks like the almost 2 day shut down was really worth even time i was missing TE..

anywayz..really missed TE these 2 days..but good to see it back with so many changes. thanx to the admins..for working so hard..to make the the NO . 1 site..even better...to achieve perfection...

any doubts .regarding new features that i have ,i will ask them soon once i read all the new announcements...

okie ...lemme report the first bug :P



the "10 most active trades" button is not working once that menu is closed by clicking on the arrow.

i am not able to open that menu back again ...and the text on that button also looks overlapped.

do check it.

i am using FF (latest) btw.
 
^^prefixes hv been removed ... :( ...market is looking really cluttered as of now. but i think we will have to do it the old way ...when creating a new thread we ourselves have to mention whether its "FS" or "WTB" in the title.
 
ya another vote for return of the prefixes... a bug also. some of the active threads are old with their items already sold. couldnt u remove them ?

I didn't like the prefixes anyway .. so good you've removed em ... How hard is it for the trader to type "FS" or "WTB" ?...

and thanx for the updates... it did take time... but i guess at the end it was well worth it...
pepole may fuss and be down when te is offline... and may wonder of all the other things that thay can and cant do... but when te is back.. all that is gone and ppl are back to doin wat they love...

Great job guys ... the new features look good, though I'm yet to explore all of them ... about the prefixes , I dont think it makes much difference :)

but a few questions:

when will there be changes in the Rig Gallery?

when will the Battle Zone of the Rig Gallery start working?

when will the iTrader 2 start?

when will the WTB/FS/FT/GO prefix come back?

when will there be a shortcut in members profile pages for giving traders feedback?

when will all the members get there old trader feedbacks back?

some of my questions too...but friend i think we need to have some patience...i assume many of the above things..will be back to normal i..;)

as of now..TE rocks...more than before.. !:clap::clap:

when will people realize i have life :)

sorry, i know you guys want lot of things, but not all is possible all the time at one time. Coding isn't a magic wand i wave that bring this and that. It takes effort, huge amount of time and a lot of testing.

Your suggestions are welcome, but they will be done when they have to be done.
