Budget 21-30k Upgrading from a 1050 ti

Hi everyone,
My current build is:
i5 9400f
2x 16gb corsair vengeance ram
b365m pro-vdh motherboard
gtx 1050 ti
gigabyte p550b PSU

I am thinking of upgrading to an RTX 2060 but I'm not sure if my current setup can handle it.
Please advice.

Your system can easily handle RTX 2060.... Question is what do you wanna use your system for? Why are you upgrading? What games are you gonna play, which resolution, what settings etc.

You can go up to RTX 2060S/RX 5700XT before you run into CPU bottleneck at 1080p.

I have a Ryzen 3600 and I upgraded from 1060 6GB to RX 5700XT last year for 1080p 144 Hz gaming. R5 3600 and your i5 9400f are very close in performance, in fact your i5 may even beat my R5 in games.

The games that came out in the last two years still run at 60 fps 1080p at medium to somewhat high settings...so I know that the 1050 ti isn't obsolete yet. You do have the odd games like control and horizon zero dawn that refuse to go above 40 fps though and a 20 series card should have no problem with these kinda games.

I want to buy a 144 Hz monitor eventually and play games at 144 fps 1080p comfortably at medium to high settings too but that won't be anytime soon.

Okay.. Am even more confused about your question now... Sorry..

What exactly do we want here? Are we buying a new card or not? If yes what would we want to achieve?

Sorry for confusing you :)
Already bought it! The MSI Ventus OC 2060! I can already see better frames and details in all the games I wanted to play/was playing!
Thank you!
