Uploads do not happen thru wireless connection!

Hey guys,

I configured my laptop to run utorrent 1.8.5 on Windows XP. Attached my speedtest report on my ISP.



Downloads work flawlessly whereas upload speeds just wont cross 0.3kBps no matter what! I'm using the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router to download the torrents over wi-fi. I've disabled peer-exchange, local peer discovery, DHT network and DHT for new torrents under Bit-torrent (Options->Preferences).

What could be the problem here? Have not tested the same using an ethernet cable though. I hate wires dangling all around. :-(

I think i should switch to a seedbox. For seedbox, our home system need not do the uploads - please correct me if I'm wrong.

that's right mate, BTW IF you torrent via LAN cable, is upload working ?

^That's the last thing I've to check. Will do that today. Tried every god damn thing and it just wouldn't upload.

Meanwhile, yesterday one of the torrents managed to seed till 15kBps for a few minutes and the speed came down. :-(

Seedbox will download/upload at its default speed (Usually 10Mbit).

The download speed from the seedbox to your computer will be your maximum download speed..
