Uploads not getting count !!!

I have downloaded few stuff from bwtorrents and am also seeding the same. I have uploaded quiet a bit it is not reflecting on their website :@

Today i got a message from the admin to improve my ratio else i will be banned in a month. what do i do now ???

eg: i downloaded a music album which was 72 MB in size and have uploaded 36 MB (as per utorrent statistics) but on their website it shows just 4.02 MB :(
 
Disable DHT in advanced options,enabling DHT will allow other users to download frm u with no change in ur tacker data upload counter.
 
Also log in to the site after starting the torrent and do the same before stopping the torrent. Works for me at boxtorrents.

BTW u can take advantage of this during downloads. Reset the router close and start ur torrent client and don't log in to the site at all and continue downloading w/o affecting ur ratio.

does this site track using special character string attached to your .torrent file??

ur connection dynamic ip or otherwise ??
 
using MTNL triband for net connection....i suppose it is a dynamic ip since i get a different IP address everytime :)
 
If you indeed uploading, take a screenshot and request the admins to look into it. And make sure you are using the officially approved clients for the particular site.
 
get registered on dyndns.com and add the newly created host to utorrent client

this can be found under preferences -> bitTorrent -> ip/hostname to to report to tracker

as suggested by Unreal disable DHT too...

In case of demonoid tracker stopping and restarting torrent also helps with upload stats...

i am using utorrent...suppose to be the most popular one :)
 
imho, bwt works on a passkey system and is a live tracker. There are some ratio free days and they have had some issues with their tracker wrt bandwidth, load etc.

Just make sure that the torrent client is stopped before you exit and it should report numbers properly. The few places where you need to have the site open while you start downloads is filelist.org
