PC Peripherals UPS-Backup problems

I am running a i5-750 with a 5770 HAWK and VX450w with 1HDD and 1DVD writer on a microtek 600VA UPS.

Nothing else is connected to this UPS.

The prob is that the UPS does not give backup when GTA 4 is running.

The computer runs uninterrupted when Furmark is sttressing the GPU , or Prime 95 is stressing the CPU, or even when I am playing Burnout paradise. But not when I am playing GTA 4.

Any ideas as to why and is a 600VA UPS OK for this config, or should it be replaced with a 800VA??(Microtek/Luminous only, cannot go for APC)

its clear that GTA game is drawing more power from the UPS.A microtek 600Va ups has Max:320W (, app)from this you can assume how much backup will it get on full load.U can use wall energy meter to check exact power draw (if precise data is required !)
