How much backup will a APC Back-UPS RS 1000 VA UPS give to a 450 Watts Oxygen Concentrator and a 150 Watts Respirator?

APC's Website says 7 Minutes only.

But I need 30 Minutes.

It is very important.

Check out the Powersafe PS 1000L extended UPS (http://www.powersafeups.com/longerbackupups.htm). Might do the job. You can install additional batteries to the UPS.

What about the Gensets ? I have been to Delhi and seen people there using these Honda GenSets which I thing are diesel powered. Ask Switch or some from Delhi about them. I know that they make quite a lot of noise and you have to take care about the Diesel fumes.

Try a battery inverter...UPS won't be able to give that much backup cause these devices u mentioned are constant drain ones, meaning they always drain the said amt ie. 450W....whereas a comp may use 450W but not always, as the draw fluctuates as per usage...
