Hey guys,

Not my usual hangout section on TE :bleh:

Anyways, This thread is for the Intel ® Asia PC Gaming Showdown!! Which is being held tomorrow (8th Oct, 2008) in south mumbai hotel @ 11 AM.





I need five (5) really good gamers for the event. The games which you are to play are:

  • EA SPORTSâ„¢ FIFA 2008
  • Need for Speedâ„¢ Pro Street
  • Crysisâ„¢

So PM me your clan details(if any) and your mail-id and phone number. I will choose the Five guys after discussing with few of my friends as they know a lot more about games then me today!!

Forgot to mention that I already have 2 players for tomorrow.

1, Arun (we all know him)

2, Vaibhav (Sherkhan to most of us)

3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are still to be decided. So come on... gamers! :D
 
Ahhh man.. strange as nobody confirming.. I understand its on a short notice but then again you can take time out for something you love to do :D
 
Why has been this event being kept so low key :O

This is not a proper way at all I guess for a India leg competition that also cming frm intel

At least have all these OC/Gaming etc competitions pan India , otherwise whats the use ??
 
Heh... bro.. you can be assured about me passing my point of view in this regard. Got a call yesterday night and that was one of their mistakes to call just a day before.

shit man read the post now otherwise I am good at nfs and crysis,but no problem as I hv a cs 1.6 competition on 11th at ma college sponsored by reliance and winning team get 50,000bucks.Other games include nfs and fifa

Alrite... looks like I am going to have to pick few gamers no matter if they are not pro gamers. So guys qualifying for any 2 games.. come forward fast!! :D

EDIT: Best way to get hold of these players would be log on to orkut n post the same request at communities regarding these games. They manage/contribute for those communities regularly.
 
Did you check with XT for Lord NeuroDrone? :S
A good fella and he won at the IIT fest iirc. :)
Plus he will know more gamers. :P

p.s. i see him viewing this thread at the moment. :P
 
^hey guys.. I am running around these two months for my college work and am engulfed completely by some tasks which were left pending since long. (sigh :( ) I would have immediately mentioned if I could have made myself available for this event in anyway but I can't. I am really sorry for that.

BTW Bikey I did see his miscal around noon, perhaps it was for this only which I got to know later on. That bugger could have messaged me about it, I could 've atleast immediately replied to him. Anyways, I will surely ask my friends to participate and I see the potential champion is already in. :) I will surely spread the message around.

Sorry for letting you down guys. Hope you understand. :(
 
Ok event is over!!!

In the end, Arun was the winner!! I know we all expected it but he had hard time during FIFA :D But he managed to score his first ever goal!! :P

Thanks to Arun, Vegeta [Amit] and his friend Aditya who came and made the event what it was! Offcourse thanks to Intel also :D
