URGENT Flash Help needed

Iam trying to design a website in flash but iam facing some difficulties as iam new to flash and ActionScripts

Some of the problems iam facing are:
1. How do i loaded an external swf? I used a software to create a photogallery..exported it as swf but i get "could not import the file........" whenever i try to import in flash cs4.

2. I added a flv video with the inbuilt flvplayer. But what pisses me is, the video continues to play even i navigation of of that particuar page(the audio can be heard)!

I googled for solutions for couple of hours and couldn't find any working solution...

you don't import an external file through file import.

you can make it play through load movie num() command.

See flash's inbuilt actionscript help for this.

You can hear video sound if you navigate out of the page?? How are you loading the flv?

The actionscript help has examples too.

PS: Don't pm me, its been years since i've touched any scripting in flash. Also AS 3 and 2 are very different in programming. Which AS version are you using btw?
