I hope you had a budget of 20k for 4 components and not the entire pc.

+1 .. Since you still have 2k left get Abit P35 E .. Rather than Intel 1 :P
 
Read the post above. Darkstar has stated an alternative. The choice of motherboard will not affect performance unless you intend to overclock.
 
Chk Biostar TP35 mobo since u will need to overcloCk ur processor for ur gaming needs . Also ,Then u need not buy 800Mhz ram , u can overclock ur 667.
 
i purchased this today......i was tight on budget ..and just wanna switch to pcix....from my old agp one.....

AMD 4800+ X2 AM2 ;

ASUS M2A-VM ;

2x1GB DDR2 667;

XFX 8600GT 256 MB GDDR3

for 14500/-

u should better invest for 9600gt!

waddya think....where this config stands performance wise......not a weak system though....

GFX : Palit 9600GSO 384MB 6.3k

RAM : Transcend 2*1gb 800mhz 2.3k

Mobo : Abit IP35-E 5.5k

Proccy : E7200 5.8k

Alchemist's config is bang on target. im sure u dont wanna go for anything lower than that especially when crysis is out :D

btw u can get transcend 2x1GB @ 800Mhz for rs. 1950/- :yahoo:

for cabi u can go for zebronics bijli or cooler master elite 330/332. price difference b/w these two is marginal...both of them should come under rs. 1600. build quality of cm is much better tho bijli is a bit more flashy :D
as far as psu goes, u have to have a good psu to compliment ur system not mater whether its budget rig or gaming rig. if u r on budget u can go for pov, powersafe, zebronics, black diamond or glacier (dont know anything about this one). a minimum of 450W is required. but let me tell u the quality will be nowhere near corsair or cooler master.
 
Yes, Elite 330 is indeed a nice cabby.

Screwless design and looks pretty neat. I myself use one and am pretty much satisfied.

As for the power supply, i recommend Corsair VX450W as its far more reliable than any other PSU in the offing.

POV Black diamond 500w is another good option @ 2.6k.
 
Price of DDR2 800MHz rams have gone up, so better go for Gskill DDR2 800MHz ram thats available from Rahul Varma or Amarbir for similar price.
 
Zebronics Bijli is available for Rs.1000-/- pair it with a rear 120mm fan of your choice and you'll get a very good ventilated Cabinet.

Add a decent SMPS like a Corsair 460Watt or Cooler Master 460Watt or POV 400-500Watt depending on your requirements in future.

All of the above SMPS are great VFM considering their quality + price.

CPU : Intel C2D E7200 Rs.5800-/-:ohyeah:

GPU : Palit 9600GSO 384MB Rs.6300-/- :wow: via PHOENIX

MOTHERBOARD : Abit IP35E Rs.5400-/- (if you are going to OC a lot)
Biostar TP35 Rs.4700-/- (basic OC'ing)

total price = Rs19800-/-:clap:

For others :
Cabinet :

1. Zebronics Bijli is available for Rs.1000-/- + 120mm fan = Rs.1300-/-:clap:

2. CM330 might be a bit cramped for a GFX card like that and if u want to add
more hdd's.(recommended for htpc/general/downloading use)

3. The next best bet is a CM 690G for Rs.4500-/-:hap2:

SMPS :

1.CoolerMaster eXtreme Power 500Watt Rs.2500-/- PRIME

2.POV Black Diamond 500 Watt Rs.2600-/- Rahul Varma
