Going to buy a mp3 player tommorow. Got 2.5k thinking of getting a shuffle 2gb or 1gb whatever fits in the budget. But cant make my mind to buy it. Are there any other alternatives?? My requirements are 2gb storage and good looks so anything else in this range can stretch the budget to 3k tooo !

i wud say look for sansa express from sandisk..
i had check on indiaplaza cost abt 2.6 k with 2 gb space, fm and micro sd card slot
plus to boot has a display for selecting playlist and stuff.

go for msi mega player 533 but its just 256 out of ur range u need 2 gb but use card on it mb though features r good

I have the Sandisk Express. Not that good but suits my requirements.
The FM reception can only be classified as non existent ! I could only get 3 - 4 radio stations at Navi Mumbai.
The card storage is fantastic since you can even add a 4 GB SDHC card.
But it suffers from hanging at times (not a problem for me since one or two resets and the player is back in action).
The sound quality is OK, but it has a 5 band custom EQ to tweak the sound to your hearts content.
The display is useful and I would recommend against the shuffle since it lacks a display.
The bundled earphones are suprisingly good. I liked them better than the EP-630 anyday. But they are not for everyone since it lacks the bass that the Ep-630 has. But the midrange is smooth and the bass is present is sufficient quantity for me. (Unlike my Mylar X3).
But they are not canal phones and so do not block our external sound. So I don't use them since I travel by train.
All in all I would suggest you skip this player unless you have lots of music and want around 6 GB space at a low cost. (2700 for player + 1200 for 4 GB SDHC)
