A: Cabinet, i-ball 700w PSU, CRT monitor, keyboard/Mouse, 40gb-ide-HDD, 1 TB-extHDD segate
3. Q: Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)
A: Cabinet, i-ball-700w-PSU, CRT monitor, keyboard/Mouse, 1 TB-extHDD segate, i-ball-Speakers.
4. Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.

proccy- I5 4core or Phenom II X4 955........(open to other options)
mobo- cheapest as possible(i dont need OC)
Graphics Card- ATI 5770...(open to other options)
psu- Cosair 450W VX...(open to other options)
RAM- DDR3-1600MHz-2x2gb-Cosair XMS3......(i m gettin it for Rs 3300)
HDD- 500gb
DVD drive- cheapest avalible

5. Q: Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
A: Components that may be upgraded/addded based on need will be HDD, Cabinet, Monitor, Speakers.

6. Q: Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)

A: No

A: No likes or dislikes.

A: NFS hot pursuit, Crysis 1 & 2, BurnoutParadise, Dirt 2, Metal of H...4, etc....all racing and shotting games.
11. Q: What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
A: Desktop-15inch CRT for now latter at - 1440x900 or 1920x1080
12. Q: Are you looking to overclock?
A: No(may be the ram i guess)
13. Q: Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
A: Windows 7 64 bit

BTW are u planning to upgrade to a bigger resolution monitor?
Because anything above a 5770 is overkill for 1280x1024

Go for MSI HAWK 5770 @ 8600
Total 24800

If u are not planning to upgrade ur gpu for at least 3yrs go for cx 400@ 2700

RAM-Corsair Value RAM 2*2GB 1333MHz - Rs. 2600
HDD- 500GB Seagate 7200.12 - Rs. 1800
DVD drive- cheapest avalible - Any Samsung/LG OEM - Rs.950

Total: 27,900.
Other option for mobo is the MSI 880GMA-E41 ~ 4k. If u are not going to change your monitor for a year or so then grab the Sapphire HD4850 512MB DDR3 ~ 4.8k from Mediahome. (He has only 1 in stock). It performs almost on par with the HD5750. Even at 1440*900 the HD4850 still packs a punch :)

U missed the RAM part :)
 
Processor : Athlon II X4 635 / Amd Phenom II X4 955 - 4.5k / 7K

Motherboard : Gigabyte 880GM - UD2H - 4.5K - I think the price of this motherboard has come down u may get it for 4.2K

RAM : Corsair 2GB Value RAM - 1300 - suggested 2 GB coz u r short on budget... Add a 2GB stick later...

Graphic Card: Sapphire HD 5770 - 8000

HDD : Seagate 7200.12 500GB - 1750

PSU : Corsair CX400 - 2600 - Wud suffice for this rig

ODD : Samsung/LG/Asus - 950

Total: 23600 / 26100

If u r going wid the x4 635 rig then buy NZXt gamma for 2k which will bring the overall cost to 25600 coz the i ball cabinet that u r going to keep wont keep the processor and gpu cool...

it doesnt have good airflow which ur cpu and gpu requires...

HDD- 500GB Seagate 7200.12 - Rs.1800
DVD drive- Sony - Rs.950
..
......wat do u guys think abt this config....will be buying it tomoro...at 12:00noon

Dont buy this mobo coz it can only support a 95w cpu...

Buy this: Gigabyte 880GMA-UD2H - 4.8K (Sata 6Gb/ps, USB3)

This mobo is a bit futureproof ;)
