Hi.

First of all, I am a tech noob. So please be a little considerate of me :ashamed:

Anyway, I am trying to attach my optical drive to my cabinet right now. I am a little (ok, a lot) confused about which cables to use.

I am attaching pics of my optical drive's ports and the cables I have.

Please tell me which ones to use and where to insert them. Apart from the cables I have posted, I also have the ones coming out of my SMPS and I will insert one in the optical drive's port too. Just need help with the other ones....

Thanks in advance!

You'll have to use the black ASUS cable, its called an IDE cable!!!. The other cable is the SATA cable.

Just make sure you attach the IDE cable properly as you can see at the starting blue part of the IDE cable there's a hinge in the middle which is supposed to be on the upper side when you attach it to your Optical drive.
