My Sony Vaio E Series Laptop warranty (1year) expiring in few days.

Is it worth spending Rs.2500 for extending warranty for 2 years ?

What does the extended warranty cover? I am assuming just the charges for repairs since the price seems so low! The replacement parts may draw additional expenses.

Sony vaio extended warranty covers everything except battery and charger, its an unbelievable price for +2 yrs laptop extended warranty(lowest in the world for any brand), till last year it was 5k but they reduced it to 2.5k few months back, and yeah i have utilised this extended warranty to the fullest by getting my laptop motherboard replaced for free

This pricing is only for sony india and the same warranty costs $300 in sony USA, so i will advise every sony vaio owner to get the extended warranty ASAP before they increase the prices.
