Urgent: Whats cheap in Singapore??

Sorry for the weird request and the urgency!!:ashamed:

My pal's bro is going to Singapore tomorrow for some official quick trip!!

If he gets time and i pray he does, then he may get some stuff i ask him to!!:ohyeah:

Problem is the he's a total everything noob, i had to go with him to get the 2 TV sets he required as he got married recently!!
So that he gets the right thing!!
Main prob is he's least bothered if he gets conned into paying 2k on something that costs 1k!!
Coz he says he has no time to bother on inconsequential matters!!

And thats my biggest worry!!

So i wanted to know which PC parts are US price like cheap in Singapore- PSU, GPU, RAM...what??
Secondly, any specific shop/area i should be asking him to go??
That will help greatly!!

Else i will wait for my pal to arrive from US in three months time!!:)

Another one is also coming year end!!:ohyeah:

AFAIK, DJ, Stormy and Harshal get stuff from there!!:ohyeah:
So gurus, if you are reading this- please help this noob!!:P

so chance to buy some uber hardware eh?

whats ur budget? i did quite a bit of research and would suggest u buy:

- sound card

- PSU

- GFX

- RAM

- CPU

- MOBO

in that order of preference (bcoz of matching price with USA)

so this would be the right time to grab a high end PSU and/or sound card. but do let us know what ur symptoms ur upgraditis is showing? maybe we would be able to diagnose completely then :D
 
Last week a friend bought a 19" LCD in Singapore he said it was cheaper than Mumbai - but dont have exact prices.

Also he didn't sound very keen on shopping!!:(

You helped him get the 2 tv's and he's denying u such a small favor. Bhalai ka to zamaana he nahi raha :P
