Urgent! Which Digicam - Canon SX240HS Vs Sony HX10V? I need to make the purchase tomorrow. Canon SX240HS is selling for Rs.19300 and Sony HX10V for Rs.17300.

I suggest reading a lot of reviews; there is no such thing as perfect camera, it will always be some thing which it miss. So decide what do you want the camera for; see which one suits it better and in your budget.

Did you settle on the 10V? I was wondering why you disregarded the 9V. I am thinking of going for that one and your reasons would be useful to me.

I demoed the Sony HX9V and Canon SX240HS and found the canon to be taking slightly brighter, detailed and clear pictures than the sony. I would love to buy the HX9V, which is better than HX10V according to reviews but this little demo has confused me a lot. Video quality wise, the HX9V is superior than the canon sx240. I don't care about the GPS feature.

The canon was selling for 19,300 but the Sony HX9V is only Rs.15700. Which cam should I go for? has any one used any of these cams and can throw in some light?
