Urgent: Wireless Router

We have recently moved to a new place and got a TATA Indicom Wi Max Internet Connection 384kbps/UL DL package for which we require a wireless router.

Requirements:

1.Ours is a duplex house and I need good reception on both the floors. I have a cpl of laptops and a desktop.

2. Budget is 100$ and Ill be getting this thru a friend in US coming shortly(so need to decide on the router soon).

3. Data Transfer shud be good. Faster the better.
 
Linksys WRT160NL, WRT160N, WRT120N. If you can stretch your budget a little bit, there's also the WRT320N.
 
draft n route?.....honestly i dont know.pardon a noob because i have no idea abt the cons of this tech and the issues (if any):ashamed:. what i need is is a wifi router with good data transfering capabilities and good range to connect a cpl of vaio laptops purchased a year ago.
 
If your devices don't support "Draft N" specification of Wifi, there is nopoint in getting a Draft N wireless router.

Get a G+ router instead.

how could i check this,
i have the office HP laptop..6910p
 
6910p is draft N as per the spec on HP site. Generally, you can check this capability from the Windows device manager as well. It would say something like 802.11a/b/g/n and also the highest speed supported.
 
and guys i need a voip router too for my vonage. Earlier use a linksys rtp 300 which off late developed some prob.so any suggestions ?
 
guys need some help here.....will be getting linksys wrt 320N thru kmd so have to decide soon the voip router too......
