US bans Kaspersky Products Citing "Security Risks"

Using Kapersky for 15+ years on 3 machines without any problems.
Time to renew, shall I again go for Kaspersky ?
Any better and lighter alternative ?
Should be safe banking and financial transactions.

Who are using those machines ? If they are computer literate, you really don't need an antivirus. Even the Windows one will suffice.

BItdefender is good and I use it as well, but compared to ESET its more heavy on system resources.

True, but it isn't crippling, and ESETs malware protection scores aren't as good as Bitdefender's. So it's a trade off. Better protection (Bitdefender) vs lighter system usage (ESET).
