Thanks bro, but this is 3M, I need 5. There are some on Amazon for 500. They don't have a return policy so skeptical due to the lack/legitimacy of reviews.

That's a hit or miss man, unless it's a blatantly bad issue, they do not help much.
That said, I gave a 2nd shot at using a CAT5e cable to extend a USB cable after yesterday's failed attempt . Turns out the cable i cut was not the greatest, today tried a thick gauge, old BlackBerry, USB cable and i have got it to work! albeit 2.0, its working great and cost me Rs. 0! Well made it look pretty with some nice heat shrink and stuff so not really Rs. 0, less than Rs. 15.
