USB connectivity PROBLEM!!!!!

My friend is having this problem(which i was also having but got fixed by itself somehow)....:hap2:

Whenever he connects any USB device say his PHONE(nokia) or say an MP3 player...widows displays the bubble of new hardware detected...installed and ready for use...

BUT the drive that should come up in MY COMPUTER doesn't show...he can connect to the internet through his PHONE so that is not an ISSUE...but the drive is not accessible through my computer....ANY IDEA:huh: :huh:

see if it shows up in the disk management console

(my comp>management (rt click)>disk management)

if it does, assign it a drive mount (drive letter)

try using the driver cd that came with the phone

Remove sptd.sys from Windows/system32..
