USB Gsm Modem Query

hi!

i have a Airtel sim with unlimited surfing for 20rs a day - i used it a lot about a year back with my se k-790i. i am looking for an Usb Gsm modem like the idea or vodafone ones but i don't want their modems/services they are heavy on the wallet . how much would a usb modem cost me?

GPRS ones were in the $30-50$ range, EDGE was over $80.

anything available locally for a bit less? @ 80$ it makes more sense to go with those photon/reliance/vodafone/idea options.

At 3k it's quite decent and supports EDGE as well. Since you can change SIM, you can anytime change the network as well. Also, you can recharge it for UL SMS offers like Airtel provides and send SMSes too!
