PowerAmp - Although its trial, its an awesome player! (The equalizer settings actually make a BIG difference!)
Norton Mobile security beta - They give a 90 day free trial period.
PhotoAF - Panorama stitcher.
Photo Vault & Video Vault.
DroidWall - Allow/deny data services for specific apps (more like a firewall).
App Protector pro - Can put apps under password protection

I'm just 4 days old to Android world
so far, i've d/led nearly 20+ apps, but using only 18 apps
rest either were fugly or not supported by G551
anyways here are the FREE apps -
1. my lookout (link)
its a security app, it has a anti virus, a GPS locator (from webpage), backup features.
i use only the Missing Device (GPS locator) feature, & it did work.
the remote WIPE feature comes in PRO (paid) edition
+ this app is available for Nokia, Windows Phone & iPhone too
2. Opera Mini
3. Skype
4. Facebook
5. GPS Speedometer
6. Quick Mark (bar code reader)
7. G Mote (wifi remote, to control PC)
Games-
8. Solitaire
9. Sudoku
10. X Construct (rail bridge...)
