Hi all,
I use the usercp to keep a track of all the topics, sub-forums where I've posted messages. I keep running into this annoyning bug everytime let's say I posted something on 4 different threads. Somebody replies on all the 4 threads. The next time I go to the usercp I get the 4 threads. Now of all the 4 threads I find one thread more interesting than the others at the moment. So I open the link in another tab or something & write some stuff. Now if inadverantly I refresh the usercp tab instead of it now having 4 topics again with my entry at the last & the earlier threads which I've not seen yet it just shows the latest one. This is sad. The only recourse left to me is to use the search engine & putting a search for my username from yesterday. This I find tedious & more often than not either fail to find the thread again or I'm unable to take part in those interesting discussions. Can something be done in order to make it better.

Breaking here the golden rule of not showing other forums (sorry for that) but I think TE would benefit highly if we could use this feature :-

Notice the 4 lines I've underlined. Now what happens is that the 1st 2 posts I'm the author of the thread & also shows me as the last guy to have posted in it.
The 3rd one is by somebody else where again I'm the last guy . The 5th one is the interesting one where I've posted something somewhere & somebody has replied to it. Also notice the linearity of the dates so older topics go down the line. This I find very convenient when keeping a track of flow of topics. More convenience is that it's always a single click away no matter wherever I'm. It's the click of My posts on the top right hand corner just beneath my userid & next to My profile. What do u guys think about that?

^ I actually did not get what you are trying to say, but have you tried the "New Posts" button at the top of forums(next to "Log Out") just under TE banner.(assuming skin is Lite style)

Let me add, thats the easiest way to navigate TE.

o.k. dipdude it's fine u didn't understand my query & no new posts doesn't solve my question. The New posts gives only whatever new posts are there (don't know whether it's from last session or whatever but totally irrelevant in my query). The pic. I gave lists all the threads where I've posted something or the other somewhat similar to viewing all posts of myself. Whereas in TE when I click on my handle or anybody else's handle & view all his posts I just get the posts not the threads with some history. In the pic. I've posted I get complete idea of where the thread started (Room), what was the topic/query, who was the author, no. of replies to it & the last person who replied to it. All this date-wise. Views is an add-on. Get me a filter like this on TE accessible right on the top & I'll cry hallelujah :) I hope that clears it for u

Ok, but here also when you click find all posts by the user - you get thread title, your last post time, the section where its posted, no of replies, no of views, plus a preview which is not present in the image you posted.

And about viewing the thread, just click the title & you are taken to the thread. And if you want to view your post just click on the first line of post preview and you are taken to the post.

So except for author of the thread, all is covered. The purpose of the whole thing is to show your posts and that is covered by that.

Also, are you using the subscribe to thread feature, what do you mean by "I use the usercp to keep a track of all the topics, sub-forums where I've posted messages" if yes, then is the bug in subscribe thread?

Even there, you have "view all subscribed threads" so surely you would be able to see replies in all four threads.

dipdude unknowingly u solved my issue. It was the last one 'view all subscribed threads' thing. Dipdude tried to give u rep. Have to spread it around :( The only thing remaining in subscriptions folder is the No. of replies column. One does get an idea that it's more than 15 replies when one sees a 2nd page. Don't know whether that's the default or what? No. of replies in one page one can view.

^ Lol, i would have solved it a lot earlier if you had not brought the "Find all posts by the user" thingy ;)

Anyways, it was not a problem - you just did not notice "View all subscribed threads".

Next time, keep your posts restricted to the issue and we would be able to help a lot better :)

PS : About no of replies in a page the max you can set is 40 replies per page. Check it in user cp/edit options.
