I have a BSNL Broadband Connection
I am now Planing to take up Iqara Broad Band Connection as well.
I want to know Can I use both the connections which has 256 kbs speed each to attain 512 kbs speed. Or alternatly switch between then using two Lan Cards.
Will I have to manually change the IP address each time I need to connect?
Please reply.
Thanks in advance.

It is possible to combine both the bandwidths and get 512kbps, provided you are connected at the same time with 2 LAN cards. I had read this in Digit or Chip a couple of years back. Have to install a small software that works like a local proxy, through which all requests are made. The article was about combining 2 dialup connections(56kbps) to get a "high speed" connection" of 112kbps. Same thing can be done with the 2x256kbps connections too, i suppose. Is that what you were asking??

Raghu.
