I am planning to buy a 2 TB HDD for my Win XP and WD20EARS almost fits the bill for me except I will have to run the WD Align utility to allign the partitions for XP.
Now I want to ask whehter anybody is using this drive under XP after aligning with the WD Align tool.
How is the performance after alignment ?
I intend to use the HD as a secondary drive to store only music and video files.
