Have bought my V-Moda Vibe from that seller. But, you should have read the last line in the description - "Auction inventory consist of overstock and clearance items". These are left overs from the 2009 model of V-Moda IEMs, so at times they go for crazy prices. I got the Vibe Blush for about Rs. 500 shipped. The newer 2010 version of Vibes start from $40 from the same seller.

there is only one version of bass freq IMO , he adds that line to all of his low priced items , but still its the same bass freq , blush was pink and without packing I think ,

can you give us some info on vibe vs ep-630

Blush or any of the 2009 Vibes on sale was not without packing. It was a full packing with all accessories.

I don't know about the BassFreq, but for Vibe, there's a 2010 version here, which DOES NOT have the 'clearance item' line: http://cgi.ebay.ca/V-MODA-2010-Vibe-Midnight-Blue-deluxe-headphones-ipod-/230502705366

As for Vibe vs EP-630, I haven't compared those two in sometime. But, off the top of my head,

  • Vibe is said to improve with 100 hrs of burn-in, which I've not done (only about 2-3 hrs of use at this point).
  • EP630 does not have a sound stage, Vibe has a decent one. Slightly better, but don't expect huge and wide sound stage.
  • EP630 has a midbass bump which is muddy. Vibe, while not the cleanest, extends down to the lowest lows. But, it's bass is a little overpowering as of now (2-3 hrs of usage only). Vibe has a good bit more impact than EP630.
  • In terms of mids and treble, I find Vibe to be a bit better, but not by a huge margin. In EP630, mids are not lost entirely and are easy to listen; whereas with Vibe, you have to see past the big bass. Mids are thick sounding with the Vibe, but carries a bit more detail. With Treble too, Vibe carries a bit more sparkle and detail. If you can EQ the bass down by 4dB or so, Vibe does a lot better, but you still need to get used to the slightly thickish sound. But once your brain burns in, Vibe is not a bad sounding IEM at all. It's not the best IEM money can get nor is it money (totally) down the drain.
  • With amp, Vibe does improve a bit overall - in terms of sound stage etc., But, using an amp with an around 1K IEM is a bit crazy if you ask me.
  • Considering that one can buy something like Brainwavz Alpha for $15, Vibe should be ok for $15-20 shipped. I'd pay even less for BassFreq based on SQ alone.

Oh ok , thanks for the information mate , I thought the clearance vibe was in bulk packing with accessories . btw thanks for the information
