VANTEC HDD DOCK ESATA - Rs 1770

Does this dock need any drivers to be install first before we can use it or its Plug n Play?. I see their is driver CD provided with the package.

Also, anybody tried to make this work in Linux?
 
in a day or two there might be 20 people ....i dont think its necessary to start a separate GO thread....shud we place the order now??? there are 10 people but ashoktvm and sarang need to confirm
 
i confirm. I also have a friend who will be needing it. but he have not confirmed yet. so confirm one for me now.

^Title has it laid down clearly at 1770 + local shipping!

Btw this's a very good price. In fact this price has beaten the one from the previous GO which supposedly had more orders than this one. Unfortunately for me, I had gotten one last month for close to 1k more, else I'd have bitten this deal without a second thought!

credit goes to mutant and KMD . i delayed the search part ....the cheaper deal attracted most of the buyers
 
i am confirmed for rs. 1770 plus + 30 i guess for shipping, KMD very close to my house or i dont mind pick up too. :). let me know cheers.
