Verifying Win 7 Used or Not

Hi,

My brother got a Win 7 Pro and MS Office 2007 genuine cd from his office. One of the side seal of Win 7 pro is torn off. How do i check whether the key of this has been used or not? I actually wont be using this copy of Win 7, I am trying to sell it online, but wanted to make sure first whether it is used or not. Also how do i check if the MS Office 07 has been used or not?

AFAIK, there is no such way to check, else would have sold my copy quite some time ago. You could try calling MS, but i doubt you will get an answer.
