CPU/Mobo Very Cheap CPU + MOBO Combo.

Hi guys ,
Need to build a rig for a friend .

CPU + MOBO budget of 4k :ashamed:

Shud be able to handle some old games like NFSU2 , Condition Zero :)
 
4k is a lil touf....
Get the Biostar GF7050 motherboard for 2k + New 2180 for 3k = Total 5k an overshoot of 1k , or get the board new and get a e2140 from TE for a tad cheaper , u wont get it in 1k for sure...... 5k and u should be good ( assuming u already got RAM)
 
Do not talk in CAPS (It gives an Impression your shouting).

You can try to get an AMD X2 4000 Rs. 2300 and 690V Rs. 2200

get an AMD 690 G/V board and the cheapest athlon you can get :)

if you cant find a 690. then an nvidia 6100 chipset board should also be okayish

bought Athlon64 X2 4200+ wid M2N-MX for Rs4600 from lammy for a frnd 3days ago...

M2N-MX is based on NVIDIA GeForce 6100 + nForce 430, therefore not recommended.

AMD X2 4000 + Jetway AMD 690G Mob should be under 5K :) as the other members have already suggested for the same.

Why not ? his budget is 4k, and it might be tough fitting in a 690G and a dual core if he cant find a cheap mobo, in which case a 6100 series board is the next best option.

If you're against it because its an asus , then you might have got a point there. I'd recommend a gigabyte board :)

@greenhorn: In same price range AMD X2 with 690G (better IGP) is better option.

@Main Topic: Intel E2140 + Palit/Zotac nForce 610i/GeForce 7050 based mob should also be under 5K.

MSI K9AGM2(690V)...Rs 2100 - only two Dimm's
