I want to connect my laptop to my Samsung Full HD LCD TV. Only vga available on laptop. Is there a VGA to HDMI cable available so i can watch videos, movies etc on tv. And what about the audio will any extra cable like the 3.5mm to RCA is required?

VGA to HDMI wont work, as VGA gives analog signal and HDMI is digital, however your samsung LCD would be having a VGA or RCA inputs try those (vga to RCA works). VGA can also give you full 1080p resolution if your laptop GFx supports it.

I had bought a VGA to HDMI cable but its useless I didn't know the Fact that time....
