PC Peripherals vga vs hdmi? for native resolution 1360x768

i plan to build an htpc which i wud be connecting to my samsung lcd..series 4, 37", native res 1360x768..NOT full HD

i hav it connected to my pc over vga...quality looks good...i was planning to buy an hdmi 780g based mobo...will hdmi look considerably better than vga for 720p?? is it worth the xtra moolah? :S

if no then i can invest more in a better cpu and ram..

your 2 cents plz..:bleh:
 
ya..i need a 780g mobo in any case and the asus and gigabyte both come with hdmi so will go for it..thanx
