VIA has introduced mini Android PC - APC 8750 , based on Neo-ITX form factor . The computer runs a custom version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and costs just $ 49 .

It comes without a case and just motherboard which is half the size of mini ITX motherboards , measuring 17cmx8.5cm . It can be installed in any Mini-ITX or Micro ATX chassis . It is intended to replace low cost PC for the purpose of basic internet and productivity applications .
It is powered by a WonderMedia ARM processor based on ARM 11 design which is clocked at 800MHz along with built in 2D/3D graphics core capable of video up to 720P , it has 512MB of DDR3 RAM and 2GB of onboard storage . It has HDMI , VGA , 4 USB 2.0 ports , audio out / mic in , microSD card slot , Ethernet port and a 15W power adapter .
"Expensive, overpowered CPUs and bloated software are no longer relevant. With this awareness, we were able to drop power consumption to the point of making an energy-saving light-bulb jealous," the company said on its website.
It will start shipping in July 2012 and cost $49 .
