For those uncomfortable with BIG

Leadtek 7900GTX :Rs.40,000

from

Top notch infotronix, Chennai.

Mid range you forgot the X1800XT (or were you talking only abt the cards available in India?? If so, then evga is not available...).

And X1800GTO to compete with 7600GT

^^ Well X1800XT is $420 which is utterly useless for that price.

I'd expect a X1900XL maybe soon for that budget..

Added X1800GTO though :)

All PCI-E Cards :@ :@...........................no AGPs ..........
Move over to PCIe.... I just got sale for one of my AGP rigs...only one AGP one now remains...sort of a rememberance.... :P

The 7300 GS is more like $80, but here the price is still too high. Its much better off goin for a 6600 vanilla. Btw the x1600 pro deserves a mention. For $110 its a good card.

^^ Not when you have X800 at that price point too.

Yup true but it all depends on the type of games u want to play. If u want to play older games the x800(GT/GTO) without doubt. But no SM3 and HDR, future games wouldnt be playable to their fullest.

^^ Exactly ! Plus I have treid to include on 79xx cards from nVidia in the high-end segment as G70 production stopped a while ago..;)
