video format

Hi

I have video file with .avi format around 650mb.It could not read it in my dvd player.How can i make it to play in my dvd? will convert it to .mpeg4 work?

create a VCD through any available program.

@OP i think you DVD player is of older type as the newer one support these formats, still if you want to enjoy the movei, either you can create a VCD or DVD out of it using Nero. My personal recommendation would be DVD for better quality

Creating a Vcd would just degrade it's quality.
