Kumar isnt that sRGB default? I'm using the same settings minus the color temp.
 
dude trust me on dis 1....i play cs evryday....weneva i go in da dark....im a sittin duck....cant c nythin...its worth 2 splurge more on monitors with better contrast ratio....u can ask ppl in TE bout dis wch is a better 1 as they wil have more experience....
 
Buy Dell from dingemini312. Dell makes good monitors and dingemini312 is a good dealer and offers good prices. I have got Dell E248WFP from him for 18.6k.

meh, i have no trust in buying online. would rather trust my friendly neighbourhood retailer than some 1-800 number.

VG 1930wm & VX 1940w (what does extra 'm' means)

Which one to select which is best for my needs

Priority is
1. Gaming (most used - not to strain eyes)
Will game at 1440*900 res
2. Movies (casual, downloaded .avi's)
3. Browsing (pleasant on eyes)

Display has notting to do with being a good gamer or hard gamer as you told. Its all depend on you. IF you are weak why do you blame the monitor.

I got price from Delta VX 1940W::::: 10250/-
They dont have 1930WM - Anyone aware of its current price
