There seems to be a Virus doing the rounds among TE Members, that manages to automatically add the URL/Link to the virus in the user's posts.

Here's an example :

I have one XFX 6600gt Dual DVI svideo out 128 mb DDR3 AGP with 1.5 year warranty left. I purchased it from renegade2 few months ago on techenclave itself for about 4800 Rs.

Its working perfectly.Can sell it for 4500 Rs if you want.

Needless to say be careful with the links in such posts! (the links in the above have been renamed for safety)

At the moment, I can safely say nobody else has been infected by the virus apart from 1~2 members. But this is just a heads-up for those who encounter such posts.

If you have an up-to-date AntiVirus solution, it should definitely be picked up instantly.

I personally use AntiVir PE, and had no problem with it identifying the virus.

(AntiVir PE reported the Virus to be a worm of the variant "Zhelatin.AL")
