Graphic Cards Vista Aero on a XFX Low End ?

i think it should run flawlessly if u have good amount of RAM..cauz it was quiet smooth on my 6600gt with only 512 mb RAM + 2gb pen drive used as the super fetch feature of VISTA....so it shud be fine...
 
it runs fine upto 1280x1024, as resolution increase it will give you problems. @1680x1050 i was not able to get even high bitrate videos running @32 bit colours. Had to reduce colour depth to 16bit to run DVD and videos which looks crap. At moderate resolutions you wont have any problem.

I have a 7300 GS which i plan To Hook on my C2D Rig when i get it.main.gaming is Not at all Priority,want to run Vista on Full throttle ... dont want invest on GFX now.hope a my XFX card & Good ram is Sufficient ..
 
Yep at 1280x1024 it ran everything right. Aero at 32bit.

But you can imaging running that resolution on 20.1" LCD looks like $#!t
 
tried aero vista on a a2mnx mobo + am2 3000+ with onboard nvidia gfx, and it ran smoothly at 1024x768 and 1280x1024... including videos......

but make sure u have 1 gb ram, and dont multi task too much.....
 
i think the Card with Good ram wiil take me Thru

@neomustdie.. will be going for 2 Gb so ... that takes care of the Multitaking part

Which Drivers ? Graphics Card Driver ?

I found Aero Theme and appereance.
Aero and Flip3d Is working fine.
