A alsiladka Explorer Nov 19, 2008 #2 Defragment your hard disk. In order to shrink a drive, Vista needs the free space at the end of the partition to shrink.

A alsiladka Explorer Nov 19, 2008 #4 Use Tune-Up Utilities defrag, afaik, it moves all the files to the start of the partition. The built in defragmenter is not really that great!
