VISTA and vlc media player

hey guys,

i got a small problem
when i play vids in vlc, screensaver starts
OS is voosta babay

try mplayer or media player classic

Unless u find the solution, u can just disable screensavers....

^^i know i can disable screensaver

thats what i have done for now

using vlc helps as the volume can go really high... thats y i dont use media player classic

well vlc is goob but u can try kmp player..feel it's much better than vlc..

there is an option in vlc to prevent the screensaver from starting during playback... check the preferences section, you might have to check the box in the bottom right for advanced options...

its located in settings->preferences->video->disable screensaver. this option is visible if you check the advanced options box in the settings window...

use ffdshow and mplayerc, and set ffdshow audio filter to normalize

@pappu: btw, what screensaver is it? default windows one or some fancy downloaded one? maybe that is the culprit? try a standard windows screensaver to see if vlc then works...
