vista boots slower because of black screen

i am using vista business edition, recently i have encountered a problem of slower boot up of OS, and a black screen appears for few seconds, just before the vista logo tend to appear.
how can i solve this problem?
please help..

ok thanks a lot for your reply..
the problem was with the software named acronis(backup manager) which was loading itself at the boot time.
anyways, problem is solved now..
