Vista Installation

Hi guyes

I have Intel celron 2.7 ghz,256mb ram 40 gb hdd. Currently it is running with winxp pro can i upgrade in to vista??? pls suggest me

I would advise against it. Specially due to the 256mb ram. Vista runs somewhat slow even on 512mb.

to tell u...i think u cant.and it's better u dont...cauz even on 512 MB ram. i installed vista and it does run normal..but only for small multimedia and other purposes like surfing...nothin else...4get gamin on vista..untill u have 2 gigs of RAM.

either get more RAM .or dnt install vista...and ur HDD space too will be wasted as it almost takes 7 gb after installation. and u just have 40 gb ..

yep, vista doesn't play nice with even 1 gig of ram. 2 gigs is about to become the standard after vista.
