Vista repair-Load drive issue

Hi,

My vista got crashed, reboots till the black screen with cursor and re starts again and again.

I tried to repair it, but it is not showing the Drives. I tired searching from load drive, did not succed. Can some one help me to locate my drives?

Followinf is the config
G31M-S2l Mobo
2 WD 1tb drives sata
2gb ram.

I dont think I have connected the Booting HDD in slot 0. Is this the fault?

I moved the HDD to sata 0 port and did the restore and repair. Now the system displays a message

can some one help me whats the error is about?
 
during the boot up process press f8 and disable automatic system restart. Now restart your pc and you will see a error code for an error which causes this restart. Post the error code here
 
@anfjavid I did the same and system has re booted again with out displaying any code

The system boots till the Microsoftwiindows processing image and displays a black screen with only the mouse. After a minute the machine reboots

I tried restoring to very old point and re booted. System showed some progress and displayed some error related to codec.

Again rebooted and this time I selected the Safe mode and restart was success ful.

Can some one tell me whether I should uninstall the codec pack and Take restore disk?

Does this disk works for me in future?
 
Anish, Right now my machine is working. The only issue is with graphics. It is not loading Vista black theme . I am facing the issue with Visual style.

Windows is displaying The visual style could not be applied message.

Sounds like a BOOTMGR issue.

Put the vista DVD and boot from it

Repair it using Startup and Repair.

it will reset your BOOTMGR.

Reboot.

If there is still a problem kindly let us know
